About this application

This web application allows you to calculate and predict the mutual inductance between two circular flat coils without ferrite sheets based on their geometric parameters and spatial configuration. You can define the properties of each coil, set distances in 3D space, and visualize the predicted results as a graph and a data table.

The prediction is powered by a trained machine learning model and uses your input to compute 10 variations around one selected distance (X, Y, or Z). You can also perform separate inductance checks for each coil to ensure parameter consistency before computing the mutual inductance.

Parameters rules
Inner diameter Din Min 10mm – Max 100mm
Total number of turns Min 1 – Max 50, must be higher or equal to total number of layers
Total number of layers Min 1 – Max 50, must be lower or equal to total number of turns
Outer diameter Dout Must be greater than Din
Width W No actual limit (but must be coherent)
Inductance L No actual limit (but must be coherent)
Parameters Coil 1
Click on "Predict Coil 1" to check for inductance
Parameters Coil 2
Click on "Predict Coil 2" to check for inductance
Distance parameters (select one to vary)
Fill in coil parameters, select which distance to vary, and set the min/max range.

FAQ – Quick Help

Begin by entering the parameters for Coil 1 and Coil 2.

Not mandatory, but they let you check each coil individually before the mutual inductance prediction.

They represent the spatial separation between the two coils. You must select exactly one to vary.

The app generates 10 values within this range to create the graph and table.

After clicking “Predict Mutual Inductance,” the graph appears on the left and the data table on the right.

Yes. Edit anything you want and click the prediction button again.
